October sure did fly by! Just yesterday we were moving into our home. It’s hard to believe we’ve lived in the house for a whole month already! October brought me down from the crazy and stressful month that was September. Here are a few things I am loving this month:
I know I’m a little late to the game but I finally started Grace & Frankie this week! You can say I’m obsessed with it so far. Jane Fonda looks ahh-mazing for her age! The show is hilarious and pretty quick to move through.
These “leather” pants from my latest Stitch Fix box. I wore them to the Foo Fighter’s concert last week and paired them with a plaid shirt and my combat boots. I’ll be sharing other pieces from my Stitch Fix box in a week or so!
The weather is finally cool enough to really feel like fall! Last weekend I picked up a few pumpkins for our front porch. Instead of carving them we decided to keep them as is. Publix had a pretty sweet deal on these ones. Only six bucks each! That’s way cheaper than a pumpkin patch. We usually go to pumpkin patches but with me being a bit under the weather last weekend we opted for the easier option. Our front door decor and mat are from Target.
Judd and I celebrated 3 years of marriage a few weeks ago. I already shared this in a previous post but one thing I love about October is its our anniversary month! We kept it very low-key this year since we sort of bought a house and all. We went to a nice dinner at Wicked Tuna which I reviewed here and Judd took me to Columbia, SC to see the Foo Fighters last week as our anniversary gift. You can read about our trip here.
Of this kid slaying the drums at our Foo Fighter concert last week! (Video from Youtube.) It takes a lot of guts to ask the frontman of a band if you can come onstage and play drums. This kid’s dream came true at our Foo Fighters concert last week when Dave Grohl invited him onstage to play the drums on their rendition of Queen’s Under Pressure. He did a killer job at it!
October has been a pretty great month. With the holidays and a new year quickly approaching I am gearing up for more blog posts and goals for next year.
