It seemed like April flew by so quickly! It was a busy month but a fun one none the less. If you can remember, I set 4 basic goals at the beginning of the month to achieve by the end of it. I accomplished 50% of my goals this month which isn’t the best but I won’t beat myself up over it. Here’s how I did on my goals for this month.
- Become a notary. Pass. The hardest part was signing the book at the Clerk of Courts which required much running around and getting lost. Don’t laugh-I’m still relatively new to the area!
- Start putting money back into savings. Fail. I mentioned I would do it then never did. Instead I booked a flight back to Florida for the end of May. Whoops!
- Eat out less. Major fail. It’s hard especially when food is the one thing Judd and I love about our new area. There are so many places to eat and we love trying new things. I’ve got to come up with some better ways to eat out less yet still get the full experience of embracing our new town. Back to the drawing board!
- Find a hairstylist I like and get a haircut. Pass. I was getting very impatient with my medium length hair. I got lucky because the salon I called for an appointment had an opening that same week. I found a hairstylist I loved and she gave me quite the adorable cut. I’m convinced I’m going to keep my hair short at least through the summer months!
How did you do on your goals this month? Share with us! Next week I’ll share my goals for May. They may involve some of the fails above!
