Last July I shared a yoga challenge where each day I would post a new pose. I recently came across those photos and decided that re-doing that challenge a year later would make a great feature for this month! I’ve been practicing yoga consistently over the last year or so and have noticed progress on a lot of these poses. This month I will be working my way through the following poses once again to share my progress on each posture. Last year I changed some of the poses to accommodate what I could do but this year I will be doing each and every one of these poses…even with modifications.
I love yoga challenges because it gives me the opportunity attempt poses that I may never have tried before. Like Crane for instance. I started playing around with this pose last year when I first started yoga practice on my own with the safety of a pillow in front of me in case I went forward! I found that the more times I tried it the easier it became. Now I can hold crane for a good amount of time without falling out. My next goal for this posture is to perfect it. That takes time!
