Today’s pose is Warrior I. This is a difficult pose for me personally because the goal is to keep your hips square then sink into the posture. For some reason my hips are very tight in this pose. Start off in a runners lunge. Lift your upper body up and place your back foot down on the ground at a 45 degree angle. Sink into the pose and lift your arms up high over your head but keep your shoulders down.
The Warrior series is very strong and powerful postures. I love the way this pose feels when I execute it well.
