Today is the Locust pose which reminds me of Superman…or Superwoman which is how I feel doing this pose. I enjoy this pose because it really works my lower back strength which continues to get better each time I practice! To begin lay flat on your stomach. Pull up through your abs and gently lift your upper body off the ground. Use your back strength and squeeze your butt as you lift your legs off the ground. Keep your arms strong and by your side.
This pose is a great set up for wheel pose which we will be doing a few days from now. Stay tuned!
