Today’s pose is the inclined plank. I just started trying this pose out in my yoga practice and thanks to yoga class it feels pretty good to do! Start in seated staff pose. Place your hands behind you and gently lift your body off the ground by pulling into your abs and squeezing your butt. Keep your legs bent if this is the first time you are doing this pose. Once you feel comfortable straighten out your legs to an inclined plank.
Truth be told I never used to enjoy planking exercises but yoga has changed that mindset. With enough practice I was able to feel comfortable with this plank pose but still got a great workout from it. This inclined plank is a nice way to stretch your body out completely and open your heart up.
