Day 28 was scheduled to be Bird of Paradise on my challenge list(which I found online) and that is a pose I have never done before. So to avoid injuring myself and I decided to do the Staff Pose with my right leg up instead. I just started enjoying these types of poses similar to the dreaded push up but I find that the more I do these poses the easier push ups are to do!
I start off by getting into downward facing dog pose. I then transition my weight into my hands for plank pose. I hold plank pose for a few breaths then chaturanga down hovering my body above the ground. Gently I take one foot/leg off the ground and pull up through my core. This pose is a great ab work out!
