Today’s challenge pose is Crow. I had such a fear of this pose when I started this challenge. I have never done any balancing poses like this before and I knew that I wanted to do it in order to complete my challenge. Here it is!
Fear was the biggest obstacle when it came to this pose. I try to tell myself that yoga is not about doing it’s about trying. The biggest accomplishment with crow pose was trying it out. I set myself up in garland pose with my elbows pushing lightly against my thighs. I took a deep breath, placed my hands on the ground and spotted my focal point which happened to be directly at my phone. I took a deep breath and pulled in my abs and lifted my legs onto my knees. The trying paid off! I held the pose for only a few seconds but the act of trying it made this pose my favorite of the entire challenge! This is not the greatest photo of it but I am proud of my effort! I love this pose! It’s really cool to see how far I have come with my yoga practice. Just by telling myself I could do it-I did.
