Today’s pose is a crescent lunge. This one is a personal favorite of my because it’s an intense hip flexor stretch. Start off in a runners lunge with both of your hands on the ground. Lift up your upper body and bring your arms up overhead but keep your shoulders from hiking up. Sink down lower into this posture for an intense stretch. It feels amazing!
The key to this pose is to keep your back leg straight to get the most out of this stretch. When you feel comfortable in this posture gently bend your back and lift your arms past your ears. Your body should emulate that of a crescent shape.
