April Feature: Spring Cleaning & Organization
In high school, agendas were always used to decorate and get our teachers to sign off on bathroom passes in the back. I rarely wrote anything important down including homework and test dates. But once I got to college I discovered how important it was for me to stay organized in order to be successful in my classes. I graduated almost 3 years ago and I still use an agenda!
I was planning a wedding last year and bought myself a small agenda I could carry in my purse. I would fill it with vendor meetings, important payment due dates and any appointments I had wedding and non-wedding related. I felt ahead of the game at all times keeping track of everything in my agenda. When I started writing this blog, I decided to keep my post schedules written down in it. It helped me post more consistently and stay ahead of my schedule for planning and drafting posts.
How do I live out of my agenda? Here are a few of the ways I rely on my agenda on a day-to-day basis:
- Schedule doctor’s appointments.
- Write down when important bills are due.
- Plan out any events such as weddings, bridal showers or family gatherings.
- Blogging? Utilize your agenda to plan out blog posts for the future.
