It’s been 3 weeks since I started my meditation journey. I feel I have made mindful progress with meditation but have a lot of work left ahead! My biggest struggle is making time to meditate. (I blame my newest Netflix renewal but really it’s my own fault!) I try to meditate before bed at least 1-2 times a week before I go to sleep.
I’ve noticed a few small shifts in my personal health from meditating. When I feel stressed out now, I take 3 deep breaths and let it out. It has come in handy if I get stressed out at work. Another thing I have noticed is acknowledging when I am angry or upset and trying to calm myself down. It helps that with my meditation practice, I focus on how I feel at that very moment and can adjust it within minutes.
I want to start incorporating yoga practice into my nightly mindful routine. Take 10-20 minutes to do some bedtime yoga before my meditating practice. This next week I will start this new routine into my mindful journey. Namaste!
