I have always had a love of seafood especially fish. We try to make it here and there but usually its the same type of recipe: breaded, fried or baked. I was looking online for fresh and easy ways to make Tilapia. I wanted to spice up my fish recipe index when I came across this Baked Lemon Butter Tilapia recipe courtesy of one of my favorite food blogs, Damn Delicious.
3 Cloves of Garlic
Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Zest of 1 Lemon
Salt & Pepper
Coat a 9x13in pan with nonstick spray and preheat your oven to 425 degrees. In a bowl whisk together garlic, lemon juice, butter and lemon zest. Season your fish with salt and pepper than coat with the lemon mixture. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the fish flakes. Top with chopped parsley leaves for garnish and serve.
The Verdict? This recipe was incredibly easy to make! It took no time at all to prep and cooked in a little under 20 minutes. The tilapia was very flavorful and savory with each bite. I paired the fish with steamed green beans, my favorite go-to vegetable. Judd even loved this recipe! Needless to say I will be adding this to my index of recipes to make again.
