One of my favorite meals to make is pasta. It was the first basic meal I learned how to make in college and practically lived off of it until I branched out. Now that I can experiment a little more with my recipes, I am always looking for new ways to make pasta besides the basic pasta and red sauce. My husband gets terrible heart burn from the red pasta sauce so any recipe I can find substituting that is always welcome.
I came across this Italian Wonderpot by Budget Bytes recipe and was dying to try it. The ingredients are minimal and you just throw everything in one bit pot and cook it for 20 minutes. How easy is that? I love the color combinations in this pasta with the diced tomatoes, spinach and onion. Instead of feta cheese, Judd put Parmesan cheese on his and I of course avoided any cheese.
Recipe Review: The Italian Wonderpot truly is a wonder! It is perfect for a quick dinner that takes a short amount of time to make. The combination of all the flavors really come together well. This recipe will definitely be a do over in our home!
