It’s a new month and a new season is upon us! When the seasons change I always feel a change in myself coming up. So this month’s feature is going to be about goals I have for myself and the changes I want to make. Here are my goals for this month:
Establish a daily morning yoga routine-I’ve been trying to get up earlier each day and a part of my goal is to start with about 10-15 minutes of yoga every morning before I start getting ready for work. Even if it’s sun salutations, yoga is a great way to begin the day!
Eat more veggies-I really do love vegetables. Problem is I get bored with them. My goal for this month is eat more veggies which includes making zucchini pasta instead of eating regular pasta. That means trying to new recipes and finding better ways to make veggies so I can enjoy them more. Judd’s always saying we need to eat more veggies…here we go!
Meditate 5 minutes every day- I was so inspired by my July book, Aim True, to begin meditating. I thought this month would be a great starting point for me. I am aiming to start doing this each night before bed even with the help of a meditating app.
Get back into sewing-Judd’s grandmother gave me her mother’s sewing machine last month and I have been dying to get back into sewing! I took a class in middle school and would occasionally play on my mom’s sewing machine. Now that I have my own, I have a few projects in mind: t-shirt quilt, table runners and learning how to hem pants for Judd if he needs it. I also want to start making quilts for my friends with babies on the way.
