The last week has been a whirlwind! From eating out every night to packing up my car and moving boxes after working a 10 hour day. We finally made the move into our new place and I couldn’t be more excited! It all began Saturday morning at 6:30am when Judd’s alarm went off. I fed the dog and and got ready to take him off to doggie daycare. Gus was stoked we were going for a care ride. He gets hyper and jumps up and down out of excitement. I put my little bouncing bean into the truck and dropped him off. On my way back I grabbed some fuel: Starbucks Caramel Macchiato with soy.
To my surprise, Judd called me at 8am on the dot to tell me our movers were at the apartment and packing everything up. I hurried back to see my apartment completely empty and it was only 8:15am! (Talk about quick and efficient movers!) I knew I had to start loading up Judd’s truck so we could get this show on the road. by 8:40am we were off with packed cars to our new home. The move took in total about an hour and a half to get all of our furniture and boxes into the house. My parents arrived at noon to help us unpack. It is always so nice to have family helping even if it’s just my poor dad ,who tore his meniscus this week, sitting on the couch giving his thoughts on a new rug.
I still have boxes to unpack but the house actually looks like we live here! I cannot wait to get some pictures and decor up so this place feels more like a home. Gus even made himself comfortable last night on our bathroom rug! Moving tires him so much!
