July 31 (Week 83) :: Creating, Finding, Switching, Forgetting, Craving.
Creating…some sewing projects. Judd’s grandmother gave me her mother’s sewing machine this past weekend and I am looking forward to getting back into sewing. I took a class in middle school and would occasionally play on my mom’s old sewing machine. I have a few project ideas in mind like a t-shirt quilt from the collection that we have combined, maybe some baby blankets for friends and some holiday table runners. It’s going to be a wonderful new hobby and I can’t wait to share all my projects!
Finding…the less I stress the better I feel. Easier said than done at times! I’ve been trying to leave work stresses at the door when I leave each day and come home with a positive attitude.
Switching…to a new face washing routine! It’s been a goal of mine to wash my face daily since the beginning of the year. I got off to a bumpy start but I recently purchased some Clinque moisturizer and am loving it! Every night with my shower, I was my face with the Clinque Facial Soap then follow up with the moisturizer. It leaves my face feeling smooth and clean!
Forgetting…that we canceled our fall vacation to Tennessee. Long story short we canceled it because Judd got a new job and we aren’t too sure about his hours/time off. We decided it be best to postpone our trip until he gets settled into his new job. We were going to TN to see the Florida/Tennessee football game, a rivalry of ours. Tickets to the game were pretty high so it made the decision easier. Our anniversary is in October so we figure we replace the trip with a smaller more local trip for a weekend. Adulting is fun!
Craving…more yoga! It’s like any form of exercise, you get addicted when it makes you feel good. I’ve been in awe of the progress I have made in the last year or so with classes consistently and am always craving more. But this brings me to my August feature….which I will be introducing tomorrow!
