This weekend I was craving good Italian food. I’m talking freshly-baked bread and a massive plate of pasta. That’s exactly what I got at Vicini’s Pizzeria in Myrtle Beach, SC. The restaurant is in a cute shopping plaza just 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Vicini’s is the perfectly quaint Italian joint fit for any date night or family dinner.
We were seated at a little table towards the front of the small restaurant. Our waitress hurried over with a plate of freshly baked bread and a small jar of olive oil with spices. Like any good Italian, we indulged ourselves with the crispy and warm bread. My mother-in-law would’ve been proud!
For dinner I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese. A classic favorite in my book and my go-to Italian choice. The sauce was savory with a hint of sausage flavoring. Sausage is not my favorite thing but I found the sauce flavor delicious! The spaghetti came topped with parmesan cheese and peas…which I firmly ate around!
Judd ordered the Bianca pizza which is a white pizza made with mozzarella, parmesan and ricotta cheese. I didn’t personally try a slice but Judd found the pizza absolutely delicious.
The ambiance is very intimate. Since it’s a smaller location I would recommend getting a reservation if you plan to go. The service is a little slower but the food is so worth the wait! If you ever find yourself in Myrtle Beach check out Vicinis Pizzeria. You won’t regret it!
