Happy Friday! It’s a happy one indeed with the weekend just a few hours away. On Wednesday I talked about learning to be alone. I decided to stick to the solo theme and share a few dates you should take yourself on.
“Me time” is such a vital thing in life! Whether you are single, married or have kids, “me time” is so essential to your sanity. Despite enjoying the time I spend with friends and family, I enjoy taking some time to myself. Spending time alone can be refreshing. It often helps inspire my creativity.
12 dates you should take yourself on:
Go for a walk.
Spoil Yourself with a Mani/Pedi.
Check out a local art museum.
Find a nice park and eat lunch solo.
Grab a good book and read.
Do some yoga and/or meditation.
Pick up an old hobby you used to enjoy.
Cook up a special meal for one.
Go for a walk on the beach.
Grab a cup of coffee/tea at a local coffee shop.
There are so many ways to enjoy yourself and take time out for yourself even if it’s only for an hour or so. Sometimes stepping away from the hustle and bustle of your day to wind down just by yourself can be the therapy you need to relax!
