Happy New Year, readers! I am so excited for 2016 and all the amazing things that lie ahead. This year is going to be filled with lots of traveling, making new memories and a year of firsts. (First cruise, first time visiting my husband’s ancestor’s hometown of Tennessee.) The new year brings fresh starts and clean slates. I will kick off this year with a monthly feature dedicated to goals. It’s a new year which means it’s time for some new goals!
New Year, New Goals
I will be dedicating my posts to my goals of 2016. Each week I will share a set of goals ranging from personal to blogging goals I want to achieve by the end of this year. I want to make myself accountable with these goals. I think it’s really important to set a few of them each year to work and improve oneself. I also wanted a platform to share my journey to achieving them! Plus your encouragement and advice is ALWAYS appreciated! So what kinds of goals will I setting for myself this year?
These goals will be things I want to accomplish in my own life. Whether it be saving more money for a house one day or taking more time to sit down and journal these goals will all be personal to me. We all have things we want to improve within our own lives I thought it would be fun to share mine with you guys.
These goals pertain to this blog and the direction I want to steer it. Some Shananagins is going on it’s second year as a blog so I want to revamp and revise it-make it better! Even though my blogging is just a hobby and I don’t receive any monetary gain from it I still want to keep growing and learning how to build this into a better blog.
Health & Fitness Goals
This year is going to be all about getting healthy and taking better care of myself. I am pretty healthy person but there are certain health/beauty things I don’t always do. (Like wash my face or take my make up off after wearing it.) This year I want to start bringing health and fitness into focus in my life. This will also include more growth in my yoga journey.
Stay tuned this month as I introduce each of my goals and keep up with my progress throughout the year. Have any goals of your own this year? Share them with us and how you will accomplish them!
