Shopping for clothes has always been a challenge for me. Ever since I was a kid it’s been a challenge to find clothes that fit my petite frame. I’d complain about it then someone would make a remark, “I’d kill to be that tiny.” No, you wouldn’t. It’s such a pain.
Last time I was home my mom told me about Stitch Fix. She started ordering her clothes that way and was a huge fan of it. Basically how it works is you fill out a style profile which includes your sizing information, color tastes, favorite styles as well as anything you want to tell your Stitch Fix stylist.
For my first box I requested a few things for work. I got 2 cute tops and a dress that was perfect for work. The great thing about Stitch Fix is you can request certain items or ask them to help style you for a specific event. You can also get boxes every month or go seasonally which is what I prefer.
October Stitch Fix
For my October box I asked for clothes I could wear to a concert. My stylist did not disappoint! She sent over these 1822 Denim pleather pants. I slipped them on and they fit like a glove. They were perfect for the show! I paired them with a flannel shirt and my brown combat boots.
I also received this “Best Day Ever” shirt. It’s so soft! I’ll wear it with leggings or my favorite jeans since it’s a little long on me. I tucked in the front of the shirt to style it.
My last item I kept from my box is this black cold shoulder dress. I’ve been wanting one of these dresses for awhile but wasn’t sure how it would fit my small frame. This dress fits perfectly and is super comfortable. I can wear it in the summer or with leggings and a jacket in the fall.
Yesterday I decided to wear it for Halloween as a part of my safe-for-work witch costume. Not that I have a history of scandalous costumes or anything! It was so comfortable to wear!
Overall I am elated with my October Stitch Fix box. I received a lot of great pieces that are versatile to wear and easy to dress up. Since I only get these seasonally I won’t receive my next one until January. By then I’ll be needing some more sweaters and cold-weather gear!
