Happy Sunday! It’s been a few weeks since I participated in a weekly Sunday Lately post with The Blogger Tribe. It’s been a quick week but a good one non the less! Here’s what I’ve been up to lately.
Laughing…at this picture of Gus from the other day. We just finished up a walk and he was pooped! But he was smiling this goofy smile and all I could see were how crooked his bottom teeth are. It’s so adorable! I’m okay with the fact that they don’t offer doggie braces…his crooked teeth adds to his silly disposition!
Suggesting…to Judd that it would be fun to make our own Gnocchi. When Tasty shared this video, I thought it couldn’t be that difficult to make our own. Maybe next weekend. I will of course share our experiences via the blog!
Reminding…myself to take each day as they come. I have the tendency to try to think ahead/think about the future. Staying present has always been a challenge. But I am determined to keep working towards it.
Embracing…Record Store Day yesterday! We were on a cruise last year for it so this year we fully embraced going to our local record store and finding some new gems. Judd scored a never-released-before Live album from The Cars, Songs From The Wood by Jehtro Tull and I picked up something special for my brother whose birthday is this week. I love that vinyls are making a serious comeback. I started my collection in college when I bought my first one. Now that we have a record player, our collection is pretty big!
Creating…posts for May! This month I fell off the blogging bandwagon a bit. I didn’t pressure myself to jump right back in until I felt ready. Creativity takes time and should never be forced! I have a few ideas for May. Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day and the Kentucky Derby provide lots of ideas for content. Stay tuned!
