Blogging is one of my favorite things to do. Currently just a hobby, blogging is a way for me to keep writing even if it isn’t what I do for a living. In January I set a few blogging goals to achieve by the end of this year. Let’s do a little check up on how my progress is so far!
Refine blog more. To be more specific I set out to be a little more personal in my posts this year. Being vulnerable is tough! It’s hard enough to put my writing out there in the world but sharing personal stories is another level. I’ll get there. It may just take some time.
Incorporate my photography into my blog more. I’ve been doing okay at this! When we travel, I bring my camera and play around with stuff. I try to put my photography in all of my posts but sometimes that can be challenging dependent upon the subject matter. I want to work on my stock work for this blog moving forward!
Develop more features. In March I began “Friday Fives.” My goal moving forward is to keep developing more features per week so I have a schedule or topics each day.
Develop better social media outreach. Slowly I’m improving upon this! I use Buffer to schedule Twitter and Facebook posts but I am trying to re-share older posts on days when new content doesn’t go up.
Fellow blogging friends, how are you doing on your blogging goals this year?
