Happy Monday! Today I am bringing you my 15th pose in my yoga challenge, Hero pose or Virasana. My pose is a beginning version because I am not quite flexible enough for full expression of this posture! Start on your knees and feel free to place a block under your butt for support. Place your hands next to your feet and lift your chest up. The key is to eventually gain the flexibility in your thigh to lay down on your back with your arms down.
Yoga is full of challenge postures. I try to remind myself that it’s not the forcing of these postures but the attempt that matters. I may not be on the ground in Hero but the fact that I am working towards it is a huge accomplishment!
