It’s day 21 of my yoga challenge with one of the most challenging Warrior postures, Warrior III or Virabhadrasana III. This Warrior is difficult for me personally because I haven’t had much practice with it. However I am trying to incorporate this into my at-home practice. Start in a standing forward fold with your hands on the ground. Gently lift one leg behind you keeping your foot flexed. Keep your hips squared and down. Typically you can raise your arms out in front of you, out to the sides or by your sides as I did here. (Space limits!)
Yoga has many postures that at first may seem impossible however with time these poses can become second nature. Warrior III is that pose for me. Each time it gets easier. One day it will be a piece of cake!
Let’s see your Warrior III poses!
