It’s day 25 of my yoga challenge and I am bringing you Camel Pose or Ustrasana. Camel is another back bend posture that I have trouble with. I am working up the flexibility in my lower back to one day achieve the full expression of this pose! Start on your knees and keep them directly under your hips. Take a deep breath in and lift your chest/heart open while reaching for either your lower back, thighs or heels.
This pose is difficult for me so I modify based on my flexibility. Take care of your body in your practice. If something doesn’t feel right modify! To come out of this pose gently raise yourself back up and tuck your chin to your chest.
