TGIF! Today I am sharing my 26th day of this month’s yoga challenge with Dancer Pose or Natarajasana. I just started working on this posture so I am a bit of a beginner at it. Begin by standing with your feet together. Take one arm out to the side with the palm of your hand facing out and away from your body. Lift your foot off the ground behind you and reach for the instep. Hinge at your hips but keep your hips squared to the front of the room. Lift your leg up behind you as much as you are able without throwing off your alignment.
I love this pose and cannot wait to improve upon it. Dancer is a gorgeous posture when it’s fully expressed. My hopes is to have it down one day!
