It’s the second to last day of my yoga challenge and today I am sharing Bridge Pose or Setu Bandha Sarvangasana. This is another great backbend posture that helps you eventually get into Wheel Pose. Begin by laying down on your mat with you knees bent but heels close to your sits bones. Take a deep breath in and on the exhale lift your hips up to the ceiling. I like to clasp my hands together and tuck my shoulder blades underneath me to get the most out of this posture.
My next goal with this is to get into Wheel Pose. It’s a work in progress but I’ve come along way with this posture since starting this yoga journey. When I first began, I couldn’t quite get my shoulder blades underneath me comfortably. But with time and practice I am able to get to this point.
